Ingredient Benefits for Beards

We use natural oils and oil derivatives that serve as excellent carrier oils to condition and nourish the beard and the skin underneath.

Shea Olein - A derivative of Shea butter that is rich in fatty acids and vitamins A and E. Deeply moisturizes and softens dry, brittle beard hair. Soothes irritated skin beneath the beard, reducing itch and promoting a healthy foundation for growth

Mango Kernel Oil - Contains vitamins A, C, and E, and essential fatty acids. Provides deep nourishment and hydration, helping to smooth and soften facial hair. Its emollient properties can help to tame unruly hair and reduce frizz while providing a non-greasy feel.

Fractionated Coconut Oil - A form of coconut oil that remains liquid at room temperature and is non-comedogenic (less likely to clog pores). It's an effective moisturizer and conditioner that can penetrate the hair shaft to reduce protein loss and breakage. It also helps tame frizz and hydrate the skin, potentially reducing beard dandruff.

Jojoba Oil - Highly similar in structure to the natural sebum (oil) produced by the skin. It conditions the beard for softness and shine, and is easily absorbed. It helps regulate sebum buildup and stimulates hair follicles, which aids in keeping skin hydrated and reducing beard dandruff and flakiness.

Argan Oil - Abundant in fatty acids (like Oleic and Linoleic acid) and vitamin E. It deeply hydrates and moisturizes the beard, preventing dryness and reducing frizz for a soft, manageable texture. It also nourishes the hair follicles and is lightweight, adding a natural, polished sheen without a greasy feel.

Avocado Oil - Rich in vitamins A, D, and E, and fatty acids. This oil can easily penetrate the hair shaft, providing intense moisture, strengthening hair, and controlling frizz. Its reparative qualities can help fill gaps within the hair shaft, making the beard look fuller and healthier.

Meadowfoam Oil - Known for its superb oxidative stability and long-chain fatty acids, it is an intense hydrator. It forms a light protective barrier on the hair and skin, locking in moisture to keep the beard soft and manageable for longer periods. It also helps to strengthen hair and adds a natural shine.

Castor Oil - Rich in ricinoleic acid (a unique fatty acid) and Omega-6/9 fatty acids. It is a very thick, lubricating oil that effectively moisturizes and conditions the beard hair to improve texture, making it soft and healthy. It's often included to help promote a fuller appearance and add shine.
